Vaccinated Death Rates in the UK
Running some numbers based on the UKHSA reports doesn't seem to look good...
As I’ve mentioned before, the data coming out of the UKHSA seems to be some of the most honest and complete in reporting vaccinated vs. unvaccinated COVID (Delta) numbers. I’ve been studying their data over the past couple months, especially since September 5 when they started reporting on a regular, moving 4-week period. I’ve been focusing especially on the numbers of vaccinated, partly vaccinated, and unvaccinated deaths to see if we can see any trends that would confirm or challenge “Vaccine Narrative 2.0™” (that though not stopping infection or transmission, the vaccines still can mitigate the worst outcomes such as hospitalization and death).
Using the number provided in the UKHSA reports with regard to deaths, along with the percentage of vaccine coverage (reported in the section titled “Population impact” usually on page 3) since September 5, and assuming a population total of 67.1 million for the UK, I have graphed the death rates of for fully vaccinated vs. the unvaccinated. The result is not a pretty picture:
Not only does it look like the overall death rate among the vaccinated is higher than for the unvaccinated, it is trending in a disturbing direction as illustrated by the included trend lines.
Now, I must admit, I may have done something wrong in calculating these figures (please point it out to me where you see it). I’m not sure how my numbers fit with the rates reported in their report (for instance Table 6 of their most recent Week 45 report):
So let me explain how I got my numbers for the most recent Week 45 report reporting data through November 7 and resulting in the 6.7 vs. 3.5 in the graph above.
1) First, I took the total vaccinated and unvaccinated deaths (2,732 and 587 respectively).
2) I then divided that by the percentages of the vaccinated vs. unvaccinated population reported on page 3 of the report multiplied by 671 (67.1 million/100,000) to arrive at the “per 100k” number.
—For vaccinated (61.1% of the population according to the UKHSA report) this results in: 2,732/(.611 x 671) = 6.7.
—For the unvaccinated (33.2% of population) this results in 587/(.332 x 671) = 2.6.
Help me out here - am I doing something wrong? If not…yikes! 😬
If the numbers and math is right, the death rate by 100k is twice as high among the fully vaccinated population as among the unvaccinated, and is trending toward THREE TIMES as high!
